Hull Road between Lilac Avenue and Windmill Lane
Approaching Route 66 on Tang Hall Lane/Windmill Lane along the Hull Road from Lilac Avenue there is no cycle provision.
I regularly, as others do, cycle along Thief Lane to avoid the traffic and lack of cycle provision on Hull road, and when this meets Hull Road at Lilac avenue I am forced onto the busy Hull Road before cycle provision continues after the Hull Road meets Tang Hall Lane and Windmill Lane.
If I am travelling away from the city I either have to cycle with my child on the pavement, or cross the busy road and cycle on the road.
The playing fields along the Hull Road at this point are being considered for housing, it would be great if in this consideration the establishment of a route to Windmill Lane off the road were also considered.
