No Left Turn Emu Road into Prairie Street

In TMO 1634 Wandsworth Council are proposing introducing a no left turn prohibition from Emu Road into Prairie Street to address problems with rat running by commercial vehicles. Wandsworth Cycling Campaign objected, asking for cyclists to be exempted. Permeability in this area is particularly important because of the possibilities that would be opened up by the planned new route under the railway to the north. The Council agreed and will add an 'except cyclists' plate to the no left turn sign. Please let us know if the exemption sign does not appear.
